Since many people are very conscious about the look of their body, many are looking for ways to keep fit and slim. For those who are lucky enough like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie where they have sufficient funds to go to the gym and other facilities or to have their bodies done thru medical procedures, it is certainly very easy to get a nice looking body.

But for the regular John Doe, it can be very difficult to spend the money required for membership in a gym or to buy slimming medicines.

If you are one of those regular citizens who don’t have enough money to even consult a personal trainer, then don’t be too sad or depressed since there are simple ways to be healthy and slim.

Yes, you don’t even have to go to the gym. All you have to do is act as normal as possible to be healthy. Take a peek as the list below – you will see there are lots of ways to be healthy that do not cost anything at all.

1) Cleaning

Doing household chores are really not easy but such activities are really very good in maintaining a good body. Imagine, by just scrubbing the floor, you can burn 220 calories in an hour at the same time, you are developing the different muscles on your body including the abs and hips and shoulders.

Then, it means you will burn more calories if you are going to the clean the whole house. You have made your house pretty and organized as you keep your body beautiful.

2) Gardening:

Use your creativity to develop a beautiful landscape in your front yard. Use your spare time to do the gardening since as you dig the soil for thirty minutes, you will be burning 220 calories. Plus, if you are going to cut the lawn and sweep the falling leaves, then you are going to burn more calories.

3) Jogging:

Jog around your local area for an hour and you will burn 560 calories. That is really big right? Though it is not an easy task, but all you must have is the determination to do it. Just grab your shoes, put them on and go out of the door and surely nothing will stop you from jogging.

4) Shopping!:

Yes girls, shopping is good for your body. However, if you really don’t have money, then you can just always go window shopping. You’ll save more with that.

Just walk around the mall for an hour and you will feel lighter and healthier since you are already burning 200 calories. Simple isn’t it?

5) Cooking

You heard me right. By cooking or preparing the foods, you are actually burning approximately 175 calories per hour. But beware to cook the healthy foods instead of those foods that will make your condition worse. Cooking vegetables or fish is better than cooking pork.

The list can go on & on just depending on the activities that you are willing to pursue like running, cycling, swimming or even hiking.

All such activities are really cheap to do. So even though you don’t have money, worry no more since there are a lot of things you can do to be fit and healthy.
