DIABETES IN THE MARSHALL ISLES
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is a major problem in the coral island archipelago of the Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI) in the South Pacific.
In 2006 I was privileged to participate, as medical director, in the Diabetes and Wellness Outcomes Research for the Republic of the Marshall Islands, a program to help solve the problem.
